Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I find the location and species combination I am looking for?
HuntReminder only shows permits that require an application in advance to draw a permit. Many locations offer over-the-counter (OTC) permits, which do not require an application and therefore are not listed. If there is a location/species combination that you believe we’ve missed, please email us at [email protected].

Does HuntReminder fill out hunting applications for me?
No. HuntReminder is a reminder service that sends notifications to help you remember to apply for permits.

How often will I receive reminders?
Reminder notifications send on three occasions. The first is when an application period opens, the second is seven (7) days before an application period closes, and the third and final reminder sends ~24 hours before the application deadline.

Can HuntReminder guarantee that I’ll draw a permit?
No. HuntReminder is a reminder service that sends email and text notifications to help you remember to submit applications for your desired permits.

Can I turn off text message notifications?
Yes. Log in to your My Account page and toggle off SMS under notification settings. You can turn text message notifications back on at any time.

How do I redeem my gift card?
Visit huntreminder.com/redeem. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be prompted to create one by entering your contact information and setting a password. Then, enter the 16-digit code located on the back of your gift card. Once your code is submitted successfully, a confirmation message will appear and your account will be active.

How do I delete my account?
